Neath Cluster Business Implementation & Development Manager

An exciting new fixed term position has arisen for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual to join the innovative and forward thinking Neath Cluster which is made up of 8 GP practices working with other primary care providers, partners from social services, the voluntary sector and Swansea Bay Health Board to improve health outcomes for about 56,000 patients.

To help us achieve this, the cluster is looking for an individual who can work co-operatively and collaboratively with the Cluster GP practices and other healthcare providers and partners. The role will deliver additional capacity from within the cluster with a distinct focus on developing and implementing cluster initiatives, monitoring and evaluating outcomes and generally accelerating progress.

You should be able to provide essential support for the development and implementation of the Cluster’s Integrated Medium Term Plan (IMTP) taking a lead role for specific improvement projects. The successful candidate will work closer with stakeholders to identify and act upon opportunities for service modernisation, providing information, updates and advice to support the review of delivery against the Cluster’s IMTP.

Ideally, you will have previous experience of facilitating change. You will have excellent communication skills, a high degree of initiative and an ability to work autonomously. The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to establish good working relationships at all levels and to supply essential support for the whole team, providing advice and guidance relating to planning, performance and project management. The individual will lead by example, prioritising conflicting workloads in the face of competing demands.
