NCS (National Citizen Service) is a youth programme that runs across England and Northern Ireland. We exist to engage, unite and empower young people, building your confidence so you can go out there and achieve your dreams, no matter where you’re from or what your background is.

The Role

The NCS Administrator is required to support the day to day management of the complex National Citizen Service (NCS) programme and will work within the Youth Engagement Team to support the recruitment of young people to the programme through events booking and diary management.

Your daily responsibilities would include:
  • Co-ordinate Youth Engagement Manager and Youth Engagement Specialists diaries
  • Organising Champion School and College Awards and Events
  • Liaising with delivery staff to input and record participant data
  • Liaising with the Youth Engagement Team to order all items required from the NCS toolkit
  • Ensuring branded items for teams are monitored and maintain inventory
  • Work with the Reed in Partnership marketing team to ensure Events are amplified in order to maximise interest and Expression of Interest generation

Skills & Experience

Essential skills & Experience 
  • Experience of working effectively within a fast paced, customer service, office-based environment
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering a high quality customer service both in person and over the phone
  • Experience of the use of database systems to input data, interrogate information and produce reports
  • Experience of the use of Excel to manipulate data in the production of clear, legible reports for management
  • A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.

Desirable Skills & Experience 
  • Experience of working with young people
  • CRM experience, ideally Salesforce
