National Sales Manager

With a product portfolio ranging from consumables to cutting edge software, they supply both the public and private sector with the ability to build best practices into their day-to-day running.

Due to ambitious plans for expansion in 2018, we’re looking for a National Sales Manager - working from corporate HQ in Crewe, you’ll be responsible for the management of all sales personnel across the UK & Ireland, and managing all activity across both commercial and public sector divisions business-wide. Working alongside marketing, customer engagement and product management teams, this is a pure management position with the opportunity to take an already thriving sales function to the next level.

The Opportunity:

  • Responsible for the management and development of a thriving sales team: 3 managers and 24 field-based personnel (currently)
  • Directly recruiting, training and developing all hires across sales functions over the coming 12 months
  • Responsible for delivering monthly sales meetings focused on learning and development, along with numerous larger conferences throughout the year
  • Acting as an inspirational leader, developing and retaining a successful sales staff across the UK & Ireland
  • Regular reporting and forecasting at board level

The Candidate:

  • An experienced manager with a demonstrable background in direct management of sales teams and individuals
  • Experienced in selling a solution-led offering in a structured environment
  • You will be sharp, ambitious and have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Any demonstrable structured and defined sales training will be beneficial; sales qualifications/certifications
  • You are an inspirational and passionate business leader who desires to build and create leaders themselves
  • A structured, process-driven professional
  • Consider yourself a "lifer" - with huge scope for progression and development, we are looking for an individual looking to build their career in the long-term within the business
