National Sales Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the sales team of an international technology business, Carestream Dental. As a National Sales Manager you will have overall management responsibility for the sales team and the strategy across the UK. This applies to the direct sales team, dealer sales and dental management software (R4), with the objective of maximising revenues of existing products and services.

Your background will be in software/IT related sales. Your industry vertical is not important, it’s your ability to motivate a sales team.

You will report directly to the Regional Sales and Service Director and will be a member of the Senior Management team. You will drive sales with new and existing customers, work with the team to maximise their potential and collaborate with dental professionals/academics to understand the market.

In this role you will have communicate effectively with internal teams and customers, providing solutions to be successful. The main responsibilities are:

  • Identify new strategies and opportunities for the company to achieve the Annual Operating Plan. Developing these opportunities in conjunction with other members of the senior management team. To include business cases to support new opportunities

  • Develop and implement the company’s sales strategy for R4 and Imaging equipment

  • Ensure the sales team is working to its full potential, meeting and exceeding their targets in revenue and margin

  • Motivate the sales team to develop consultative relationships with key customers and to demonstrate excellence in customer service acting with honesty and integrity at all times

For this National Sales Manager position you:

  • Must have experience of managing a sales team. Mentoring and coaching them to achieve the team’s targets.

  • Previous experience within a service / software/IT organisation

  • Highly developed sales and negotiation skills

  • Must be a highly motivated and driven individual, to meet goals
