Who we are:The MSN for Neurosurgery is a national service network with a remit to ensure a national neurosurgical service is delivered across four regional centres: Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The MSN is dedicated to working collaboratively with service providers and users to ensure neurosurgical services in Scotland are of the highest standard based on the strongest clinical evidence.What you will do:The network’s strategic objectives are diverse and far reaching so you will be responsible for delivering complex projects across multi-strand work steams, meeting deadlines through influence, challenge and negotiation, and will develop and maintain effective, positive relationships with key partners and partner organisations.You will play a key strategic role in the future development of an agile network that responds to the needs of service users through building strong collaborative relationships with service providers.What you will bring:Vision, leadership, facilitation, persuasive communication skills and staying power!
You will have relevant experience within health services planning and improvement, some of which will be at a senior level of specialist management, strategic planning, performance or programme management experience. You will also have excellent numeracy and analytical skills commensurate with a senior manager position.
