An exciting opportunity has arisen with a fast-growth, well-known gifting organisation for a National Account Manager to manage and develop the Boots and Clintons accounts, exceeding sales and margin targets, adding value to the customers and delivering on brand strategy.
Our client is a well-known, and fast-growth gifting organisation based in Bristol.
The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing the Boots and Clintons relationships, developing all aspects of the customer relationship from identification of new opportunities for growth through to category management of existing listings. The successful candidate will maintain full P&L responsibility for these accounts, driving growth and accurately forecasting volumes and margins.
The National Account Manager will be responsible for Customer Journey Planning, and it will be necessary to initiate a regular face to face contact strategy to develop and maintain the value-add approach required. The National Account Manager will create Joint Business Plans to ensure proactive management of revenue and margin gaps versus plan and forecast.
It will be the National Account Manager's responsibility to proactively create 12 month promotional plans in line with account strategy, and engaging all stakeholders, both internal and external. It will be essential to work effectively with internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to manage product ranges through the full planning cycle, and to champion the product internally.
This role is field based, reporting to the Bristol Head Office.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven FMCG/Consumer Sales track record
- Be a proven National Account Manager
- Ideally have sold into Boots and/or Clintons
- Account manager category management experience
- Have a proven track record in delivering JBPs
- Have held account P&L responsibility
- Be an excellent stakeholder manager
- Be a self starter
- Have a strong eye for detail
- Have a passion for home decorations and interiors
£45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits
