Selling into national distributors and high profile end users within the catering industry. My Client is looking to bolster our National Accounts Team with this appointment. They will have some autonomy and should be based in or around South East London or the North Kent borders but also enjoy some UK travel. Must be able to demonstrate success in their list of many achievements.
Salary between £40-£55,000 per annum plus benefits including a car.
Responsibilities and Duties
Selling a range of goods from within the companies disposable table-top collection into the foodservice sector. Managing a portfolio of accounts including national distributors (Bunzl, TRG etc) and well-known high street end user customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering agreed revenue and profit targets by optimising opportunities with the existing account base as well developing new opportunities. They will be expected to act as the champion of the customer internally and lead all internal teams and sales processes to maximise the potential. The role is based at the headquarters and will mean travelling out to customers on 2 to 3 days a week on average and being office based for the remainder.
Qualifications and Skills
Driven by a curiosity for the numbers, accuracy and attention to detail are essential traits for success. A desire to operate autonomously whilst balancing this with working as part of a wider sales team is key, as is the ability to form great customer relationships. Most importantly they must be commercially astute, confident, persuasive and possess excellent communication skills both written and oral. They will need to be well organised and self-motivated in order to manage your time effectively. Must be good with administration.
My client is offering a salary of between £40-£55k basic based on experience; bonus, pension, health care and 25 days paid annual leave . In addition, a car, laptop and mobile phone will be provided for this role.
