Job Title: National Account Manager
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + Bonus + Car + Healthcare + Pension

Due to continued expansion and coupled with year on year growth in trading, our client has heavily invested in bringing new top talent to the business and developing a new range of products that fit within their portfolio of lighting and homeware.
Reporting into the Commercial Director you will spend time developing the company's most lucrative accounts and pro-actively sourcing new business across a number of trade channels, including multiple high street retailers, grocery chains and wholesalers.
- To identify all sales opportunities to achieve budgeted sales, profits and customer service targets for all areas of direct responsibility, whilst establishing strong customer relationships at all levels.
- To deliver budgeted sales turnover & margin on an annual basis with pre-set cost targets.
- To produce by account an annual business plan, defining key strategies and the initiatives required to implement these strategies. Monitor & deliver this account plan on an ongoing basis in-line with Searchlight and the National account business strategy.
- To set the agenda with each customer in-line with the business plan, in order to implement key strategies and initiatives to drive business growth.
- To be the external brand interface between Searchlight and our National account customers.
Successful candidates will have a proven sales background in a similar sector. You will have a track record of opening and developing accounts with key retailers.
