National Account Manager

Job Title: National Account Manager

Location: Commutable of Bicester

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (OTE £55,000) plus car, laptop, mobile phone, 25 days holiday and pension.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to progress their career into a National Account Manager role and continue to drive the business forward. Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop existing client account relationships to optimise profitability
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention at all times
  • Identify key quantifiable opportunities for business development team
  • Develop added value solutions focused on continued growth
  • Provide strong account leadership and robust relationship management
  • Serve as the primary contact for all customer service related issues
  • Provide category training, insight and knowledge to wider sales teams
  • Accurately monitor and report monthly performance
  • Attend necessary tradeshows and conferences
  • Provide additional support for adhoc projects as required

Key Skills & Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of fresh produce industry
  • Numerate and analytical with strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator and excellent presentation skills
  • Target driven with the ability to deliver results
  • Expert influencer of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of working with FMCG accounts
  • Commercially aware and ethical approach to business
