Job Description for Nanny / PA in West Byfleet
Job Title:Nanny / PA
Number of Children: G (8), G (3) and B (8 months)
Salary:£13 -£16 gross per hour (Employers to pay Tax, National Insurance and Pension liabilities)
Holiday:28 days holiday per year (5.6 weeks) to include bank holidays
Start Date: February 2018
Hours Required: 4 hours per day, 10am to 2pm (or flexible within the structure of 9am to 3pm)
Driver: Yes, a driver with own car is required
This is a great and varied role for a Nanny / PA for a busy family who are running and growing a successful business. The role is 60% PA and 40% childcare and would suit someone who is happy to switch between the two roles. This family run a rapidly expanding Veterinary practice.
Duties will include
Client care – handling paperwork from clients, responding to client queries
Liaising with suppliers – organising suppliers for Chertsey and our new site
Debtor management including sending letters and making phone calls
Liaising with our IT support services
Performing a backup of the practice management software (this is very straightforward)
Managing staff rotas and holiday cover
Generating invoices for clients, Paying invoices due to suppliers
Processing staff timesheets
Processing staff pension contributions and handling payslips, etc.
Processing end of day banking reports from each clinic and entering this data, along with sales data, onto the system
Making courtesy calls to clients and sending courtesy messages
Dealing with overflow calls from reception when the practice teams are busy.
Processing post in and out of the home office
Organisation and management of home projects / errands
Watching the children when Sarah is on the phone or with a client.
Booking family travel and activities
Liaising with the landlords of our business properties and our personal property.

This role will suit someone who has a sound PA background, and who loves being with children, possibly from either a personal or professional background.
You will enjoy this role if you are flexible, happy to ‘muck in’, and be looking for a long-term role with opportunity for more hours and responsibility.
