I am working with an exceptional mixed, faith school who are looking to appoint a music teacher to a part time role starting September 2018. This is a long term maternity cover role, 4 days a week, teaching music to all secondary keystages.
The school has a very strong music department, with students recording outstanding academic results at both GCSE and A level on a yearly basis, with 80% of students Achieving A*-A at GCSE in 2017.
The school are keen to meet with candidates and have interview slots available and wish to appoint a music teacher before Easter. All applicants must be able to provide two recent references for consideration as well as undergo a full disclosure and barring services check.
Candidates called to interview will be expected to prepare and deliver a 1 hour observation lesson, as well as sit basic skills tests and sit an interview with SLT. This school is not able to sponsor international candidates.
