A rare opportunity has arisen for a competent Music Teacher at an outstanding academy based in North-West London. This opening is available for both an experienced classroom practitioner and an NQT who has recently qualified.
What is the school looking for?
Applicants must be thoroughly familiar with the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and ideally have some experience as a Music Techer at A Level. The school has a Sixth Form and Music is a consistently popular choice so there will be an opportunity to teach in the Sixth Form if you are suitably qualified and experienced at this level.
As a successful Music Teacher you should have a proven track record of consistently adding value to your students in the schools you have taught previously. You should also be a confident and enthusiastic practitioner with the initiative to facilitate the progression of the department and should have a strong career record in this respect. Please bear in mind that applicants should have a Music related degree and QTS/QTLS to be considered for the role.
