About the role
We are pleased to recruit for multiple Pensions Administrators to join existing teams within our bright modern offices at Lingfield Point, Darlington. Please note no previous Pensions experience is required as full training is provided,
Providing an administrative pension service you will ensure work is completed in line with service level agreements and provide a continually improving level of customer service in terms of quality, cost and time. You may be involved in telephony work depending on the department you are assigned to within the Operation. Demonstrating strong administration and team work skills you will provide excellent customer service to all clients, members and third parties. Working with calculations and written communications you must have a high standard of numeracy and literacy up to a minimum standard of GCSE C in Maths and English. You will possess a high attention to detail and quality with the work you provide, updating records, identifying opportunities and actively seek new ways to improve procedures.
Please note we will be holding an assessment centre Tuesday 20th February 1pm-4pm at our Lingfield Point offices, you will be required to attend this should your application be successful so please ensure you would be available for this date before applying.

What you will do:
Create and maintain consistent and accurate pension scheme records and events
Provide excellent customer service to all clients, members and third parties in line with service level agreements
Work within set key performance indicators and quality standards and to make every effort to achieve these
Identify complaints at the earliest opportunity and escalate as appropriate
Identify and report risks and breaches immediately to line management and/or the Operational Risk & Compliance Department
Regularly review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and controls and make suggestions to continually enhance service delivery, improve processes and reduce potential complaints and business risks
Adhere to Quality Management Systems and comply with pensions and FCA regulations and initiatives, for example, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
Support and assist the management team where required in all aspects of service delivery and business support for example, ad hoc projects, auditing, etc.
Support less experienced members in the team
Your experience will include:
Previous pensions administration experience is advantageous but not essential as full pensions training will be provided
Administration, IT and customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Track record achieving targets
A flexible approach to work at all times and adaptable to varying demands and workloads with a commitment to ensure tasks are completed to deadline
A GCSE C or above in Maths & English
