Your new company
You will be working for a large local housing association with a strong pipeline of domestic maintenance work. You will be joining a multi-trades team working on upgrading their housing stock.
Your new role
You will be involved in a range of tasks including plaster boarding, dry-lining and general plastering. You will be attending occupied or void properties and carrying out planned or reactive maintenance. You will be working on kitchens, bathrooms and void properties bringing them back up to living standards.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Plastering or equivalent. You will have experience of working in domestic properties or in social housing. It is desirable that you can undertake other aspects of the fabric trades such as basic carpentry, painting and decorating or tiling. You will have your own van and tools.
What you'll get in return
You will receive approximately 4 weeks work and there is a possibility of extending the contract for the right candidate. You will be paid £11 - £14 per hour based on background and experience on a 37 hour working week.
