Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical
• Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery.
• Understanding of PPM Systems

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules. carryout day to day engineering & maintenance activities using a variety of automated & manual machines, refurbishment of worn parts on rotary valves, & the manufacture of extrusion die & belts. An understanding of PLCs, AC/DC drives and SCADA would be advantageous. Ability to read engineering drawings. Involvement in multi-site projects. Maintain central workshop standard & practices, also, working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. Working on extrusion machines, gearboxes, belts, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves and pumps.
