Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £46,725.51 (including shift allowance)
Shifts: Rotating 3-shift pattern

A leading global manufacturer is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team at their site in the HU7 area. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production and manufacturing equipment. Working across mechanical and electrical disciplines, you'll play a key role in minimising downtime, improving reliability, and ensuring that machinery runs efficiently and safely.

Day Shift:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:00pm

• Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm

Late Shift:

• Monday - Thursday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

• Friday: 12:30pm - 6:00pm

Night Shift:

• Monday - Thursday: 11:00pm - 7:00am

• Friday: 6:00pm - 11:30pm

• Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across a variety of production machinery.

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.

• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives within the maintenance function.

• Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring issues.

• Time-served or qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (HNC, NVQ, or equivalent).

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across both electrical and mechanical systems.

• Experience with PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated systems (advantageous).

• Flexible and reliable with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
