Mutli-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
My client is the largest, privately owned, manufacturer of windows, doors and conservatories in the UK. Due to expansion, a vacancy has arisen at the Norwich site for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team for a 4 week period on the night shift
The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance engineering, with experience of electrical and mechanical equipment. As a Multi-Skilled maintenance engineer you will have worked in a manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate the ability to work on a range of CNC machinery faults. Engineers need to be able to deal with a fast paced environment and fault find and solve technical issues on a range of PLC controlled equipment.
Carry out electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs on UPVC window production machinery.
Help develop and carry out routine plant preventative maintenance (PPM) programs.
To work on installation & testing of all plant on site.
Installation, repair and development of machinery and equipment.
Electrical installation, single and three phase, Panel building, PLCs.
Time served electrical engineering apprenticeship.
ONC/HNC electrical / electronic engineering.
experience in a production maintenance environment with a multi-skilled approach.
Multi-skilled flexibility - electrical and mechanical.
Experience of working in a team to achieve joint targets.
17th or 18th edition
To the Production Engineering Manager to ensure effective implementation of all planned maintenance, and efficient resolution of breakdown repairs and site remedial works.
To yourself to ensure that you achieve all the KPI's of the role and to take responsibility for your own personal continuing development;
The working hours will be Sun 11pm - 7am, Tue/Wed/Thu 6pm - 6am
