Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with Electrical bias and Controls experience.

Must have industry experience programming, designing, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting new and existing Allen Bradley and Siemens automated controls systems.

Responsibilities include: -

Control system design - PLC programming - Design/programming of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) -Variable Speed Drives - Troubleshooting PLCs, HMI systems, Ethernet and Profibus systems and SCADA systems.

Ideal candidate will:

  • have the ability to analyse and fault-find electrical /mechanical breakdowns rapidly,

  • perform PPMs and repairs methodically and efficiently to the highest engineering standards,

  • ensure the respective corrective actions are carried out and recorded on CMM System

  • be able to demonstrate high attention to detail with good analytical and reporting skills,

  • have the ability to be flexible, work within a team and show initiative when working alone.

Our Maintenance team also conduct project work together with identifying opportunities for Continuous improvement. Driven by LEAN principals and completing all works in adherence to Health and Safety legislations and Company/site procedures.

Qualifications required:

  • Recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship

  • Preferred Graduate qualified Electrical /Electronic Engineering but will consider HND relevant qualification with suitable industry experience.

  • Knowledge of PLC Software Development (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.) - HMI / SCADA Configuration.

  • 17th Edition wiring regs

  • IOSH Managing
