Multi Skilled Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer, preferably with an electrical bias, for our prestigious client based in Arbroath. Our client requires a skilled engineer to help with the maintenance of machinery and also aid with the installation of any new equipment.
The main duties of this role will be:
* Aiding with the repair and maintenance of all equipment on site
* Ensuring all breakdowns attended are left in a safe condition
* Carrying out electrical testing when required
* Ensuring all repairs and maintenance assigned and attended are fully documented
* Working closely with the Chief Engineer to help ensure compliance with department and regulatory standards
* Ensuring all maintenance records and systems of work are kept up to date and in line with statutory requirements
* Communicating with managers and other employees regarding breakdowns and timescales of any down time

The successful candidate must have the following:
* Be time served within an engineering discipline
* Be trained to a minimum of HND level within engineering
* Have previous experience of fault finding and root cause analysis
* Have HACCP L2, Food Hygiene L3 and IOSH Managing Safely qualifications
* Ability to understand and analyse performance data
* Be able to work competently alone and as part of a wider team
* Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to communicate with colleagues and managers alike
