The Trust is looking for an enthusiastic CleanStart Operativeto join our busy team. You will predominantly be working as part of our environmental services team, to provide high quality mobile cleaning and ground services of internal and external communal spaces around our customers’ homes as well as undertaking ad hoc handyperson tasks such as changing light bulbs, fitting door handles and lifting bulking items as a team. You will ensure that effective relationships are maintained with customers, working with the wider team to report and assist the Housing Officers to resolve any neighbourhoods’ issues and, working alongside other internal and external contractors where required, provide assistance and support two-person visits so the ability to communicate clearly is essential.You will also be assisting the wider Social Enterprise services as and when needed, to provide high quality cleaning, clearance and grounds maintenance, of internal and external communal spaces around our customers’ homes and other THT owned real estate.
You will have experience of providing excellent customer service and have an understanding of relevant health and safety regulations in an Estates environment. With experience and knowledge of the use of equipment to maintain green spaces and complete estate cleaning, you will be organised and have a can-do attitude. There are times you may be working at heights (full training given) and assisting with movement of heavy goods.
Knowledge of CoSHH legislation and experience of using mobile devices, such a tablet, smartphones is beneficial and the use of PPE, including face masks, will be required.
