Multi Skilled Maintenance Enginee, Westerleigh, Bristol, £Competitive Salary

Working for a well respected food producer who supply products to retail, wholesale and food service internationally are seeking a proactive multi-skilled maintenance engineer. To support the companies 24 hour production the role requires a strong electrical bias including PLC's with competency with mechanical to support their 24 hour production facility. Duties for the Multi-skilled electrician are:

Working as part of the engineering team on a shift system, you will take responsibility for a wide range of duties including:

PPM - planned preventative maintenance

Efficient response to breakdowns to ensure minimum disruption to the production areas

Analyse current methods and actively seek improvement to develop the efficient and productivity of the business.

Record keeping for all activities

Organise and oversee sub-contract engineers

Work closely with team members, sub-contractors and production staff at all levels

Skills and Qualifications

Must have an electrical qualification of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

Be 17th edition certified.

You must be an excellent fault finder

Strong mechanical engineering skills with a good working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulics and PLC's.

IT literate

Excellent communication skills

Preferably previous experience within food processing


40 per week rotating shifts
