A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for MS365 Finance BA / PM with experience in GL on a 6 - 12 month contract basis.
The day rate will be £700 outside of IR35, with their working policy being two - three days out of their London offices.
Responsibilities for the role are;
Business Analyst / Project Manager - MS365 Finance Implementation
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA/PM) to oversee the implementation of MS365 within our finance department. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects, understand finance-related business processes, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of MS365 tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead the end-to-end project management of the MS365 finance implementation, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
- Business Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive business requirements analysis to understand finance department needs and align them with MS365 capabilities.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system design.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements to optimize the use of MS365 tools.
- Ensure that the implemented solution meets business objectives and enhances operational efficiency.
- Implementation and Deployment:
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of MS365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, and other relevant applications.
- Coordinate data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop and execute training programs to ensure end-users are proficient in using the new tools.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Change Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive change management plan to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations and address concerns.
- Create user guides, training materials, and other documentation to support end-users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis and project management, preferably within finance or technology environments.
- Proven experience in implementing MS365 solutions, particularly within finance departments.
- Strong understanding of finance-related business processes and requirements.
- Proficiency in MS365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, and other relevant applications.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
