We are currently recruiting for a Lead Radiographer within our CT and MRI departments. This is a new position which will be a varied and challenging role for the right candidate. In addition to delivering a first class service to our patients, you will also play an active role in developing and promoting the MR/CT service. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the day to day running and staffing of the Cross Sectional Imaging Department. This will involve close liaison with our hospital Consultants and referrers from the local community. Excellent communication skills at all levels and a dynamic personality are therefore essential for this post. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years MRI experience and a postgraduate qualification in MRI would be preferred. A working knowledge of CT is required.

To be successful in the role you will require:

- Experience in general Radiography

- 3 Years' experience in MRI

- DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography

- Registered with the HCPC

- CT experience

- Proven ability to work in a team or independently as required

- Attention to detail

- Competent computer skills

- Good communication skills
