Mould Shop Setter - Haverhill (Night Shift) Circ £26,216 per annum
Our client, based in Haverhill, is a very successful and long-standing manufacturing company and is currently looking for a Mould Shop Setter for their busy Mould Shop working the night shift. This is a very hands-on role and you will be working in a modern and well-equipped mould shop. Previous experience in injection moulding setting and processing skills are essential to be successful within this role.
This is a multi-functional role where you will work on a range of moulding machines, ranging in size from 20 - 250 tons, with duties consisting of production/quality and maintenance related tasks.
Duties will include:
- To set up and operate assigned equipment, with the ability to fault find and problem solve.
- To utilise machinery and equipment to effectively meet production targets.
- To be able to carry out all aspects of production based quality procedures.
- To be able to effectively communicate/handover ongoing issues relating to machinery/tools and equipment.
And what about you?
To be in with a chance, you will have at least three years' experience as a Mould Shop Setter/Technician. It is essential that they have good fault-finding skills on machinery, ancillaries and mould tools and you will need to have experience of working to tolerances and tight specifications.
We are looking for a technically minded candidate who is forward thinking, a team player and has good communication skills. Additionally, you will be experienced in high volume, quick tool change and short run production environments with good knowledge of engineering polymers.
As Mould Shop Setter, you will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work a night shift, midnight to 8.00am Monday to Friday. The annual salary includes a night shift allowance.
