Our client is one of the fastest growing independent brokerages in the Country and as such they are seeking two additional account handlers for their office in Crewe
The main purpose of this job is dealing with quotations and the servicing and renewals for motor and household insurance products. This sometimes includes private motor, taxi, motor trade and motor fleet but cross training will be given if the candidate has dealt with motor insurance, especially new business or sales.
The jobholder must be competent to complete the following tasks:
They will have good communications skills
They will have experience of working in a busy call centre
They will have knowledge of general insurance
They will have dealt with new business quotations
They will have dealt with renewals
They will be strong in customer service
Willing to work towards KPIs and Targets
Educational qualifications - GCSE or equivalent ideally in Maths and English
Previous Experience 6 months experience in motor insurance environment. Experience of working in a busy insurance sales or customer service office is preferable.
Insurance qualifications "Willingness to take CII exams and progress
IT Skills - IT Literate and be adept in use of MS Office XP, particularly Excel and Word. Must be able to utilise the internet and office email facilities
Regulatory Requirements - The job-holder must possess knowledge FCA regulatory requirements
