Motor Fleet Policy Administrator

An opportunity to join an established, growing and expert led boutique underwriting agency focusing on the UK commercial insurance marketplace. Business is introduced by a network of brokers from across the UK.
In this role you will be part of the Commercial Motor Fleet department with fleet sizes ranging from 2 to 300 vehicles and encompass risks from a broad spectrum of business sectors and includes non-standard risks.
Providing technical and administrative support to the underwriting team, including for example:
·Preparing new business documentation.
·Preparing renewal reports and referring on more complex cases to Underwriters.
·Updating policy data.
·Processing Mid Term Adjustments / Issuing cancellation letters.
·Preparing policy renewal documentation
·Assisting/supporting project work.
·Contacting customers to request/collate outstanding information.
·Handling client enquiries.
·Processing online quotations
·Interacting with brokers and underwriters.
Experience and Skills
·A good grounding in Commercial Motor Insurance - from an Insurer or MGA background. - in customer services, admin support or broking.
·Strong organisational skills, confident to balance own workload.
·IT literate - to include Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & good database skills.
·Strong interpersonal skills - confident to engage with colleagues and customers at all levels.
