A vacancy has arisen, within this commercial insurance brokerage for a Motor Account Handler to provide office based technical and administrative support for Motor, Retail and Commercial in accordance with company policies and FSA regulations. The responsibilities of the role will include account management with day to day communication with clients and insurers, dealing with new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments. Client visits may also be necessary to assess insurance requirements and the development of further new business leads.
Candidates will need to have gained experience of handling motor fleet and motor trade insurance classes, ideally within a broking capacity, however candidates from an underwriting background will be considered. An extensive knowledge of all major products, insurers, scheme providers and FSA regulations is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
