BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Mortgage and Protection Consultant to join our client who are an award-winning group of financial services and technology companies based in Newburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

About the Role

  • Salary based on experience - £30,000 to £35,000
  • Bonus Scheme (OTE - £50,000 to £80,000)
  • Full-time permanent position
  • Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (1hr Lunch)
  • Hybrid Working – There will be some hybrid working to this role once training is completed
  • Free on-site parking
  • 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays (increases with length of service)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' financial situations and advise on suitable mortgage products.
  • Assist clients in completing mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support throughout the mortgage process, addressing any queries or concerns.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify the best mortgage options available for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations within the financial services sector.
  • Write and provide protection advice

About you

  • Proven experience in financial services, preferably within a mortgage advisory role.
  • Must have your full CeMAP qualification
  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyse financial data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service is essential.
  • Desirable - Mortgage Advice (CF6) exam and Financial Protection (R05) exam
