Our client is a leading Independent Mortgage Advisory firm covering the South West. Based in Taunton they offer General Mortgage and Protection, Equity Release and New Build Mortgages. Offering independent, whole of market advice for both mortgages and protection.

The role:

They are looking for an experienced mortgage adviser to join their new build team, dealing with referrals from their introducer partners and contacting clients to qualify their offer and provide advice and recommendations for their mortgage needs before passing them on to the dedicated protection advice team.

The successful candidate will have prior mortgage sales experience, preferably from a whole of market perspective, and will be confident in using lender specific affordability calculators and software and undertaking pre-underwriting checks where necessary.

Predominantly office based, they will be confident in providing advice over the phone and demonstrate both excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Providing a seven days a week service to their New Homes partners there will be some weekend cover required on a rota basis but additional holiday allocation is provided to cover this.
