Moderate Learning Difficulties Learning Support Assistant
Time Plan Education are proudly working with a primary special school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties in Hackney. We are recruiting for learning support assistants who can focus on children who are functioning below the national average in areas such as literacy and numeracy.
The successful candidate will have experience in working with children with moderate learning difficulties, will assist with speech and language therapy and develop social skills. You will be working within an accomplished and motivated team to help with the attainment of the pupils.
Pupils have access to a sensory garden, music and yoga therapy, well equipped classrooms and individual support. There are both full and part time jobs available.
To apply for this tole, you will need to have:
- References available from a school setting
- Experience or understanding of moderate learning difficulties
- A current DBS
- An enthusiastic, patient and motivating personality
