Mobile Service Engineer - Hydraulics

Mobile Service Engineer required to work across the Midlands and South Manchester, covering the UK. The Mobile Service Engineer role will require the servicing and repair of mechanical and hydraulic equipment, as well as inspection and testing. My client manufactures a range of hydraulic components and is a leading force within the industry.

The successful Mobile Service Engineer will be a motivated individual with previous mechanical service and repair experience, to deliver excellent customer service across the UK. Some training will be offered on specialist tooling, and previous hydraulic knowledge/experience is beneficial but not essential.

Mobile Service Engineer Position - Hydraulics Overview

The role will be predominantly field based in charge of the service and repair of contracted equipment. You will be joining a team of 4 service engineers, individually responding to customer enquiries and travelling to various sites across the UK carrying out routine maintenance such as lubrication, pressure testing and inspections. You will also produce reports documenting findings and faults with equipment and tools.

Mobile Service Engineer Position - Hydraulics Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience with mechanical repair
  • Experience with hydraulic systems beneficial but not essential
  • Working on own initiative
  • Effective communicator with customers
  • Full UK driving license and be prepared to travel across the UK, with some nights away

Mobile Service Engineer Position - Hydraulics Remuneration

  • £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience + overtime
  • Door to door
  • 25 days' holiday + bank holidays
  • Pension
  • Company van + fuel card
