Minute Taker / Administrator

Are you looking to utilise your minute taking or audiotyping experience? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Administrator within a well-known and highly respected Local Authority. This position is available immediately on an initial three month temporary contact.

What’s my role?

To provide administrative support to Oldham Council’s Quality Assurance team covering safeguarding across various residential settings.

Your primary responsibility within this role will be to provide high quality minutes for the Safeguarding Adults board in various meetings and conferences.

In addition, you will arrange venues, update databases with relevant information including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and support general invoicing and administration duties.

What skills do I need?

• Extensive experience of providing accurate minutes within complex meetings and conferences.

• Experience organising and maintaining information systems, including databases.

• Ability to provide strong administrative support to various staff and departments.

• Strong IT competences in word processing and excel.

The successful candidate will be able to thrive in a fast paced and outcome focused environment. You will possess great attention to detail and be able to multi-task effectively.

You will also be proactive, highly motivated, organised and have the ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience working within a Local Authority environment would be advantageous.
