Military Telesales Advisor
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Military Telesales Advisor to join our Military Sales Team. This role is homebased.
Forces Mutual have been supporting the UK Military for over 30 years, offering insurance, money and travel products and services tailored to Military personnel and their families.

We use our not-for-profit status to not only make sure our products are competitively priced but also to fund other initiatives which support our Military personnel in ways that make a positive difference to them and their families.
Within this role you will be responsible for driving sales and customer advocacy of the Forces Mutual Brand through a telephony route. You will sell products to meet the current and future wellbeing needs of military personnel, staff and their families, acting as an ambassador for the Forces Mutual brand and promote its differentiation from the competition.
In this role you will…
•Build positive relationships with Customers and their families over the telephone
•Advise customers on our offering of Life Protection products
•Ensure sales-administration is in-line with regulatory guidelines and company standards
•Conduct all business in-line with internal T&C schemes and external regulatory requirements
•Exceed all personal sales targets
•Seek new business opportunities
•Generate further income by proactively seeking referrals from existing clients
•Ensure that all relevant income is tracked, and pipe-line managed so that income is received
•Ensure that you perform and develop in-line with the company’s T&C scheme
•Undertake training as required and transfer training into your working environment
•Work outside normal office hours to achieve results when required
All our Military Sales Advisors possess the following…
•Knowledge of the Armed Services environment is desirable
•RO5 Financial Services Qualification desirable but not essential
•Experience of working in financial services desirable
•Knowledge of the financial protection market is desirable
•Familiar with a propositions-based approach which puts the customer at the heart of delivery of the product or service
•Telephony sales experience is desirable
•Basic numeracy skills with analytical ability
•The ability to plan and budget effectively.
•A proven competence in practical problem solving
