We’re looking for people who can communicate confidently and listen intently whilst working out how to solve enquires to keep our customers happy.

You will be working on behalf of one of our clients, to provide an efficient, high quality service to parents/parents to be, the wider family unit and health care professionals.

You will be provided training to be able to advise parents with various baby and toddler related issues. You will bring your knowledge and experience from your clinical background in order to support and inform women and their families in a kind, empathetic and empowering manner.

You will ensure responsibility for own actions and being accountable for all activity undertaken as per the NMC code of conduct. This role is suited to a midwife with at least one year post registration clinical experience.

You should have a natural flair for conversation, genuine empathy and the resilience to address customer issues. You’ll become a specialist in your area so you’re more likely to resolve our customers’ issues quickly.

As a Midwife you’ll often be the very first point of contact for our customers, you’ll need lots of patience, but with your unflappable nature and personal approach, you’ll calmly reassure them that you’re there to help. You will be varied, dealing with various customer queries. This could be through different channels, i.e. video chat, live chat, handing inbound calls, responding to emails or white mail (letters), responding to social media forums, or making outbound follow up calls.

To be a brilliant Midwife, you’ll need to have:
• Excellent listening skills and natural empathy
• Midwifery qualification (minimum 1 year post registration clinical experience)
• A genuine passion for customer service
• A professional telephone manner
• Strong communication skills, with a natural flair for conversation
• Resilience, understanding and patience
• Effective time management
• Offering reassurance, advice and information in an empathetic, enthusiastic and friendly manner
• An openness to feedback and confidence working with others

Generally, our contact centres are open between 8am and 9pm, 365 days a year including bank holidays. Shifts could be any time during these hours. Whilst we'll give you notice of your shifts in advance you'll need to be available during these hours.
