We are seeking to recruit highly motivated Band 5 newly qualified midwives and Band 6 midwives who have a passion for midwifery and will act as an advocate for woman and their families.
You will be innovative and committed to midwifery care, in a small District General Hospital. This will be a rotational post providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, must be able to work in a team. You will be innovative, enthusiastic, and committed to drive change forward to improve support and choice for women and their babies.

The maternity service here at The QEH is evolving to meet the needs of our women. We are currently responsible for the care of approximately 2300 births each year. The service offers a choice of care pathway, lead professional and place of birth to women living in King’s Lynn, West, North and South West Norfolk, and parts of Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, & Suffolk.
Inpatient services consist of a high risk delivery suite, co-located midwifery led birthing unit, and a combined antenatal and postnatal ward with transitional care cots. The neonatal unit is at level 2 (Local Neonatal Unit)
We are seeking dynamic, highly motivated and clinically credible midwives to join our team. We are looking for individuals to complement our existing team in continuing to develop the services in a constantly changing environment.
