This Global design consultancy, with offices around the UK, including Birmingham, Bristol and London, is looking for an experienced Middleweight UX / UI Designer to join their growing UX team. You will be working within their 80 strong creative agency, where they have talented Designers that work across UI, UX, immersive technology, motion and film, 3D design and visualisation, print and branding. This Middleweight UX / UI Designer role will be working within their UX team where you will be working on both big and small projects, taking the projects from research to concepts, wireframing and prototyping to user testing and then to UI design. Whilst the majority of their team sits in the Bristol office, they are happy for this role to be based out of their Birmingham, Bristol or London offices. They are all remote until the Autumn, after which there will be a hybrid split of working for 2/3 days a week onsite/remote. This is a permanent role, offering a salary of £30-40K, DOE.
You will be working collaboratively with the team as well as independently on small and larger digital projects where you will relish solving design challenges, coming up with innovative solutions for the product in both the direction, visuals and experience.
You will be confident to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, site maps and be proficient with creating high fidelity prototypes and user interfaces.
You enjoy facilitating or participating in Discovery workshops and can gather feedback and run user interviews.
You will be able to communicate design ideas and prototypes to Developers and have good communication skills to be able to collaborate and communicate with the wider team and clients directly.
You are proficient in Adobe CS suite as well as Sketch and Figma.
You enjoy problem-solving and like to find solutions to a design problem. You are comfortable working end to end, looking at research and how that drives the user experience across both web interfaces and apps.
You have a love to create excellent design work that is centered on making it the best experience for the user. You have good attention to detail and like to see projects through, but equally, can juggle multiple projects at any one time.
Whilst you are diligent in your work, you can also have fun with colleagues and enjoy collaborating with people and want to continue learning and developing within UX and UI.
