Currently working with a Development team that are looking to expand by recruiting Mid level Developers. The company are going through a transformation in their digital systems, utilising the latest technologies to help share the future of their services. As a result of this digital transformation and expansion, we are recruiting for Java Developers to join their growing software development department.
We are looking for developers with proven commercial experience who have the capacity to work as a part of a scrum team to deliver on projects. Whilst you will work mainly with Java, you will have the opportunity to work across a varied technical stack that includes: Java, Go, Spring, Spring Boot, MongoDB, AWS, RESTful APIs, Elastic Search, Thymeleaf, Apache Kafka, Ansible and Terraform.
You should be eager to help the organisation transform their current systems into a Microservice architecture, hosted in the cloud. Working closely with other senior developers and technical leads, you will take an active involvement in influencing the technical direction of software development.
It is essential that you have proven commercial software development experience. You should ideally have commercial Java Development experience, although we are also able to consider candidates with a background in another object oriented programming language (C++, C#) providing that you can demonstrate the ability to cross-transfer your skills into Java development.
They utilising the latest TDD techniques so any experience of working in a TDD environment and / or experience of working with automated test frameworks would be an advantage but it is not essential. These positions are based within teams of highly skilled and dynamic developers that work in an Agile Scrum methodology.
