Job Specification

We have a great opportunity for experienced or graduate Developers with experience or looking to learn MicroStrategy Report Builder. This would also suit someone who is already in a technical or analytical role and is looking for a new challenge to learn new technologies.

If you are a logical thinker with a strong attention to detail, have excellent communication skills, you’re enthusiastic and willing to learn, then this role could be for you.

This is a fantastic and unique opportunity to be part of an agile delivery team that is accountable for build activity for Data Warehousing capability. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the technical design and build of the Data Warehouse, taking business requirements and interpreting these to deliver a technical solution.

As part of the role, you will receive on the job training to become proficient in building reports in MicroStrategy.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Knowledge of MicroStrategy Model, Dashboard, Document and Report Development
  • Experience of writing SQL queries.
  • Proven knowledge of taking business requirements and interpreting these to build reporting solutions.
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing design using Ralph Kimball’s Dimensional Modelling technique.
