Technical Skills

All candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the creation of documentation for technical/functional guidance, including user stories, design and release notes. Ideal candidates will have solid Dynamics CRM skills and applied knowledge in all aspects of delivery. Projects will be varied and individuals should therefore demonstrate a breadth of capability and evidence of the following:

  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM from design, through build to integrate with rollout
  • Experience working with Azure
  • Understanding business requirements to meet the business needs of the clients, including customising and configuring the platform.
  • Integration of existing systems and services into the CRM architecture.
  • Support deployment and provisioning activities.
  • Enhancing and customising Dynamics CRM systems
  • Developing code in C#, SQL, and JavaScript
  • Defining user requirements

Desirable skills also include:

  • CRM 2011, 2013, 2015 (CRM 2016 not essential)
  • Enterprise level projects
  • C# .NET development
  • Working within an agile environment
  • Able to translate business goals into solutions

We’re looking for people with a degree in Computer Science or related subject as well as a minimum of 3 years Dynamics CRM development experience. We’re equally interested in people with degrees in another subject that demonstrates logical thinking. As part of the CIC, you will have the opportunity to travel to client’s sites and other IBM and CIC centres across the UK, sometimes even further! Travel flexibility is important to us as our clients often like to work with you face to face. You will be expected to travel throughout your employment so we are looking for explorers, those people who are willing to go the extra mile for our clients (quite literally!) If you are not willing to travel to projects then we won’t be able to consider your application.

All applicants must hold a UK work permit or visa valid for a two year period prior to applying. Unfortunately, we do not offer visa sponsorship and have no future plans to do so. For certain projects, ideally candidates will be British Nationals with a minimum of 5 years UK residency, preferably 10 years.
