Our client is looking to recruit candidates that have proven skills in microbiology and they are flexible on what skills they can consider. They currently have 3 roles available and successful candidates will work as part of a multi skilled microbiology department responsible for microbial analysis of the process and materials associated with pharmaceutical manufacturing and project work.
The department is involved in microbial analysis of raw materials, components, intermediates and final products as well as environmental monitoring of the site. They support services, manage maintenance, culture, speciation and enumeration of microorganisms, and they also support the regulatory area, QA audits and inspections (MHRA/FDA).
Currently they are working on multiple projects around new technologies, products and methods and require candidates that are experienced in aspects of microbiology, validation and regulatory requirements.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Qualification in Microbiology or related subject
- Experienced in aspects of working in a regulated microbiology laboratory, validation and regulation
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- The roles could be day based or shift based
This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-national pharmaceutical company at one of their flagship sites located in Barnard Castle. The contract will initially be until the end of the year, however, it is likely to last much longer.
