MI & Reporting Analyst


About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and multi-skilled individual to work with our Portfolio team to support cost management and reporting.

As a MI & Reporting Analyst working in a fast paced Agile environment you’ll play an integral role in implementing and driving lean governance principles and controls.

Key Accountabilities

Prepare and manage budget trackers to support the budget management processes

  • Prepare and provide financial data and information for reporting purposes to all relevant governance boards in order to facilitate a single version of the truth across the Portfolio

  • Drive improvements to the Portfolio finance control and management processes, working closed with Technology Finance and PMO

  • Performing financial related activities in a timely manner

  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliation reports

  • Evaluate work order documents for correctness and completeness against lean portfolio metrics and quarterly reports

  • Address goods receipting/invoicing issues and inquiries in a timely manner

  • Preparation of month cost reports, month end closing activities and support overall project status reports

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Highly organised

  • Good interpersonal skills, having worked within multi-disciplinary virtual teams

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Proactively takes ownership to drive continuous improvement in ways of working

  • Proficient in MS Excel

  • Experience with SAP tools and Planview ideal
