On Site Methods Engineer : Based in Greater Manchester: Salary negotiable depending on experience and suitability:
Our client is a large company that develops, manufactures, installs and maintains complex handling systems. All over the world these systems are integrated in its customer's process in the Energy, Aeronautics, Offshore, Defense, Metallurgy, Industry and Environmental sectors...they operate across the UK and abroad through local sites and subsidiaries.
To support their maintenance contract dedicated for jigs and tools equipment for a prestigious clients plant, we are looking for :
You'll be part of a maintenance team to which you will provide technical and organisational support. You will define the operating procedures and track the indicators to assist in the maintenance plan management.
Your main missions will be the following :
Create and update the operating range of services
Prepare the maintenance plan for the team
Technical documentation research
Proposal for spare parts stock based on maintenance feedback, experience, and OEM's recommendation
Weekly and Monthly report, KPI, Technical reviews
Data analysis, feedback, Improvement Plan proposal
You will consolidate the continuous improvement of the service and put forward optimisations of the performance.
Contact with the customer is part of your daily routine, and acting as the deputy to the site manager is part of the role.
A technical background in heavy industries, logistic means, or mechanical equipment, in which you have relevant experiences is a key to success. Approach to Aeronautic Production would be an asset.
IT literate and a good level in MS office and derivative applications is mandatory, managing data in integrated systems (Computerized Maintenance Management System CMMS) is a must have, and preferably with SAP database application.
