Job Description:

Due to growth Proact are looking to recruit a Merger and Acquisitions Analyst to do the majority of the groundwork for preliminary deals.

The successful applicant will help accelerate the Group’s acquisition deal flow and completion by sourcing, researching, analysing and recommending attractive acquisition targets. A primary focus for Proact is to look at future projections. You’ll contribute to investment case development, and take part in deal structuring, negotiations and due diligence as appropriate.

You’ll be responsible for project managing a number of projects simultaneously involving significant amounts of stakeholder management and matrix working. A key part of this role will also involve presenting your research and drafting strategy and Board papers on potential acquisitions with recommended actions.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience within TMT

  • Extensive experience in financial analysis and constructing financial models and evaluations

  • Be able to manage multiple priorities, projects and stakeholders and be responsive to business needs.

  • The ability to gravitate to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively up to board level.

  • A proven record of M&A deal Sourcing

  • The ability to engage with and develop a dialogue with potential targets.
