Merchandise Allocator

ROLE

We are looking to expand our existing merchandising function to help manage the exciting growth as Sunspel expands globally. The Allocator will report in to the Junior Merchandiser and will be responsible for ensuring stock is moved effectively and efficiently around the company as well as assisting in administrative tasks for the department.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• To be responsible for the flow of stock through the business to stores and ensuring online and the stores have right stock at the right time. • To be the main point of contact for all stores regarding stock availability and stock delivery to stores, both replenishment and launch. • To assist the Junior Merchandiser in delivering an allocation plan for sign off at Seasonal launch by Retail team, Design team and Merchandising Director. • To be responsible for maintaining all Max stock levels in stores. • To be responsible for the daily replenishment runs on the system for all stores across Netsuite and Vend and ensure all necessary communication arrives in a timely fashion. • To liaise with all stores and deal with all issues regarding delivery of stock on a weekly basis. • To liaise with Torque regarding all store replenishment deliveries. • To be responsible for adjusting all incorrect Transfer orders to and from stores and warehouse. • To assist store managers in maintaining accurate stock levels, so ensuring accurate replenishment. • To assist the Junior Merchandiser in tracking and resolving all Missed sales in stores. • To assist in ensuring stock is prioritised by channel and manage stock levels and availability across all the channels. • To support the Junior Merchandiser in liaising effectively with all departments regarding availability of all products. • To assist where necessary in adhoc analysis for range planning and lessons learnt during the product selection process. • To be responsible for entering purchase orders onto the system. • To be responsible for entering seasonal forward orders on to the system. • To be responsible for administering pricing updates on to the system. • To assist in producing weekly trading information and any adhoc information required to enable commercial decisions.

THE CANDIDATE

The following skills, qualifications and experience are preferred: - Strong numerical skills - A desire to progress in the Merchandising function - Database development and management skills - Microsoft Excel to an advanced level
