Reporting Relationships:
Reports to the Merchandise Manager
Based at Head Office in Sunderland
Liaise as appropriate with other Team Members, Branch, Warehouse and Head Office Personnel, also liaises with key personnel at Suppliers.
About the role:
Support the day to day running of the Merchandise function, ensure daily tasks are carried out and priorities are dealt with immediately. You will report in detail to the Merchandise Manager.
Summary of role:
Supporting the introduction of new models including placing orders and signing off invoices.
Liaise with suppliers regarding new product.
Dealing with pricing queries.
Producing pricing tickets for new models and promotions.
Action requests and enquiries from branches.
Involvement in product listing on the company website.
Supporting managers as required.
Undertakes, as required, other duties in keeping with the general nature of the position.
Key skills/personal qualities:
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Good attention to detail.
Great communication skills.
Capable of managing own time to meet deadlines
Bright, confident, enthusiastic friendly person with a "can do" attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively contribute in a team environment.
Maintain a consistently smart and professional image.
