We are currently looking for a MEP Supervisor to work for a main contractor on both a London Underground & Key Works Package for HS2 based on sites in North London and Euston.

The role will entail a mixture of night shift and day shift works, so candidates who apply must be prepared to accept this, although there will be more day shifts than night.

Job Description for MEP Supervisor - LU & HS2

Reporting into the M&E Manager, you will be responsible for managing key aspects of the MEP packages on the relevent project. Both projects include aspects of station fit out as well as teams on site. You will ideally come from a trades background.


Key Responsibilities for MEP Supervisor - LU & HS2

  • To assist with the management and coordination of MEP trades on the project under the direction of the MEP manager. To coordinate and collaborate with other project disciplines and sections as required.
  • To ensure project compliance with all requirements within area of responsibility and to support others as required to allow compliance across the project.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the project specification, sufficient to ensure that all works within area of responsibility are compliant with specification. Ensure that works are constructed in accordance with the latest design and specification information.
  • Produce and maintain a detailed and resourced 3 week (minimum) look ahead programme of all planned works within area of responsibility, including subcontractors and Third Parties, which supports the contract programme. Manage works to achieve the agreed programme.

  • Identify all required materials and procure them to support the programme of planned works. Monitor stock levels of materials within area of responsibility and arrange restocking as required.

Skills & Experience for MEP Supervisor - LU & HS2

  • Valid PTS, CSCS & SMSTS Cards
  • Any TFL / LU Ticket would be a great advantage (E.G. LU Sentinal Card)
  • Previous experience working on major rail project essentail (E.G. Crossrail, TFL/ LU Station Projects)
  • Computer and IT Literate
  • Previous MEP Experience and confident in managing MEP Sub Contractors
