Academics Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Swindon. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual who is committed to enhancing the educational experience by supporting students' mental health and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to provide emotional and mental health support for students.
- Work one-on-one or with small groups of students who may be experiencing emotional or mental health challenges.
- Support students in developing strategies for managing emotions, building resilience, and improving their mental well-being.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment, where students feel valued and heard.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain mental health concepts in a compassionate and accessible manner.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build supportive relationships with students.
- Flexibility and a proactive attitude when responding to students' mental health needs in a dynamic classroom environment.
- Competitive daily pay (£83.50 - £100 per day).
