Hays Healthcare is looking for Band 2 Mental Health support workers to work particularly in Leeds, York and surrounding areas.

Your new role

We have an extremely high volume of day shifts available for this post. This position is ideal for individuals who are looking for part time or full time hours and even long term placements.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will need to have at least 6 months relevant mental healthcare experience within an NHS setting in the last 2 years. Those who are successful in the application process will be individuals who possess effective communication and team working skills. You will also be involved in the personal care and meeting the needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental and physical issues. Therefore, an attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with co-workers and patients and commitment to care are essential. Part of this role will also be to complete observations when on duty.
