Full time and Part Time Mental Health Recovery Workers in Leamington Spa and Rugby.
You will have:
Preferably be familiar with recovery plans, as you will be providing one-to-one key worker support to service users. You will be supporting service users in activities of their choice and duties may also include cleaning, shopping, gardening, administration of medication and supporting them in their personal care.
*To provide key worker support to a specified number of service users, including one to one individual support and liaison with other mental health agencies on behalf of people who use our services
*Enabling individuals to self manage their personal and domestic resources and to undertake activities of daily living
*Whilst developing a rapport with service users based on respect and honesty, the post holder will at all times work within clear professional boundaries and the Rethink Mental Illness Code of Conduct
*Enabling and encouraging service users to find out about local services and facilities within their community and facilitate access to alternative services where specific needs are identified
*To be familiar with individual Care/Recovery Plans and support people who use our services in achieving their goals
*To carry out all needs assessments, individual safety and support planning within organisational and legislative requirements.
*To work with service users in developing, reviewing, monitoring and adapting support and safety plans
*To undertake basic personal care tasks as outlined in the care plan including support with:
eating or drinking; toileting (including in relation to menstruation); washing or bathing; dressing; oral care; and the care of skin, hair and nails.
Prompt and supervise an individual to allow them to carry out personal care activities, where they do not have the capacity or ability to carry out any of these activities without such prompting
