We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced mental health support worker to join the team at this forensic mental health supported living service in East Oxford providing support for adults with complex mental health conditions.Main responsibilities
Whilst most of CMG services support adults with learning disabilities, this is a very different service and instead supports adults with mental health conditions.
Earlmont House is an 11 person supporting living forensic mental health service based in East Oxford currently supporting 8 clients. We require full time mental health support workers and bank support workers to assist with day to day running of the home and supporting clients with their day to day requests including medication management, finance, support to GP appointments and their general well being.
This is a 37.5 hour week based on shift pattern which includes weekends and bank holidays and waking night shifts allocated on a rota basis.
You must be able to work within a team and on your own initiative. Lone working is required in the service

At this service, experience or knowledge in supporting adults with mental health conditions is vital.
You need to be kind and caring, but also resilient, able to calm stressful situations down and handle situations where clients can become upset, aggressive and even attempt to abscond from the service.
You will ideally have, or be working towards, a Diploma in Mental Health Care.About the company
